Mud has taken over where snow was just a few days ago. Mud really keeps Spring in perspective.
The plans for our participation in the Midtown Farmer’s Market are being finalized. The calendar has a link to the market website and the dates we will be there are filled in.

We are still digging out from yet another snow storm. It is really hard to say how much snow we really got because the winds were blowing and drifting everything. The animals are handling it quite well. The sheep break trails to the water and don’t venture off them. It sounds like we could be in for another round again next week.
We are in the process of adding a farmer’s market in Minneapolis to our vending schedule. Probably the first Saturday of the month, May-Oct. It sounds like a nice market, and it would be fun to get out meet a whole new group of fiber artists. When things are decided I will post the schedule and a link to the market in the calendar.
Another project we have going on but has been stalled by the weather and other stuff is our farm store and workshop. We are in desperate need of a real wool handling/storage/scouring/dyeing area. We have outgrow what can be done with really limited facilities. So hopefully by late summer we will have a dedicated retail area and wool area. We are planning a grand opening/holiday sale for late November to Christmas. Besides our wool and meats we are hoping to feature other farmer’s and craftsmen’s wares. I will keep you posted on our progress and opening dates.
