Text Box: Our beef and lamb is 100% grass fed. We have a strict no grain policy, and hormones and antibiotics are not used on animals destine for slaughter. Our animals are rotated through our improved and managed pasture through out the grazing season and receive the best care in a healthy and clean environment. We truly care about each of our animals. Although grass fed meats have tremendous number of health benefits, we feel perhaps the greatest benefit is the connection of farmer and consumer. As we, the farmers, reach out and connect with the consumer offering a better alternative to mass produced impersonal food, we strengthen communities not only economically by keep food dollars local, but also by reestablishing personal relationships and expand our community. The health benefits of grass fed are many including increased Conjugated linoleic Acid, lower cholesterol, more Omega 3 Fatty Acid, and decreased occurrence of E.Coli contamination. All of this leads to decreased heart troubles, lower weight, lessened cancer risks, generally better health when combined with other smart food choices. There are many documented environmental benefits too. Grass farms including ours experience decreased erosion, greater plant and wildlife diversity, lessened dependence on fossil fuels, and animal wastes are naturally spread with no dangerously concentrated collection areas. Limited quanties of our beef is currently available midsummer by the whole, half, or quarter animal.

The price is $2.oo/lb hanging weight + processing. For current availability and more information about average weights and processing information please contact us.

Grass Fed Ground beef is also available year round from our on farm state inspected freezer.

Our mild, tender lamb is currently available from Sept to Nov. Whole or half lambs can be reserved.

Priced at $4.50/lb hanging weight. This price includes processing.
