Cormo Fleece

It is a very exciting time when we shear the Cormos every April.  It is right before lambing, and shearing day is the start of our busy yet exciting season.  Finally uncoated, we see the beautiful white fleece just begging to be made into special garments or soft snuggly blankets. 

We have limited quantities of fresh Cormo fleeces available.  All coated year round unless otherwise noted.  These are very clean and include only the prime part of the fleece under the coat.  Average adult fleece weight is between 4-6 lbs.  The staple length is usually 4-5.” Lamb fleeces which are covered only after weaning (late Sept) will weigh 2-3.5 lbs.  Lamb fleeces are usually shorter approximately 3” and do have the lamb tips, but are very clean and very soft.
